2 Days Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram Tour

Day 1: Chennai – Kanchipuram

Our chauffeur will pick you up from the airport/railway station or Chennai hotel between 7:00 AM and 11:30 AM. We will then take you towards Kanchipuram. Our Kanchipuram day tour will begin from the Ekambareswarar Temple. The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva and is one of the tallest temples in South India. After this, we will help you explore the Kailasanatha Temple—a temple that houses a 10 feet tall Shiva Lingam.

The next destinations included in our  Kanchipuram tour package are Vaikunda Perumal Temple and Kamakshi Amman Temple. These temples display stunning rock-cutting works and intricate carvings. After exploring the town, we will take you to Mahabalipuram for a restful night.

Day 2: Mahabalipuram – Chennai

Next morning, after having breakfast and checking out from the hotel, our chauffeur will take you on a Mahabalipuram tour. The first destination on our Mahabalipuram tour package from Chennai is Shore Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. Next, we will take you to explore Arjuna’s Penance or ‘The Descent of Ganga’. It is a 96-foot-long and 43-foot-tall rock temple adorned with images of Gods, giant elephants, birds, animals, and much more.

The next destination is the Five Rathas or Panch Rathas Shrine. It is a famous rock-cut chariot temple. We will also take you to explore the Krishna Mandapam, a monument dedicated to Lord Krishna.
