2 Days Private Amritsar Tour

Day 01: Arrival in Amritsar And Trip to Wagah Border

Our chauffeur will pick you up from the Sri Guru Ram Dass Ji International Airport and drop you off at the hotel in an air-conditioned car. Our tour will begin after the chauffeur comes to arrive at the hotel around 3:00 PM for the sightseeing. First, we will take you to the Wagah Border. You will witness the celebration where the Indian BSF and Pakistan’s Rangers shake hands which depicts a great brotherhood between the two nations as included in the Wagah Border tour package. You can experience the ceremony from the foreigner gallery. Post-ceremony our chauffeur will drop you back to the hotel. 

The next, you will experience the evening Palki ceremony around 9:00 PM. During the Palki Ceremony, the holy book Guru Granth Sahib is taken to a room in the Golden Temple. The Gurbani Kirtan is played during the time of the Palki ceremony. After this, our chauffeur will drop you back to your hotel for a restful night’s stay. 

Day 02: Amritsar City Tour And Departure to the airport

You will be picked up from the hotel at around 9:00 AM in a private air-conditioned car. You will also be accompanied by a tour guide on the Amritsar city tour. The first place our our Amritsar travel bucket list is Golden Temple. The striking golden hue of the temple and its reflection in the Amritsar Sarovar have made it a top tourist attraction. It is considered one of the most revered pilgrimage sites for Sikhs. 

After the Golden Temple tour, we will take you to Jallianwalah Bagh, a site of national importance. It was Jallianwala Bagh where thousands of Indians were killed on the orders of General Dyer while they were peacefully protesting against the Rowlatt Act. 

You can also take a leisurely walk through the Hall Bazar. It is a marketplace famous for Punjabi clothing, food, and handicrafts. 

Later, in the afternoon, our chauffeur will drop you back at the airport to help you catch your flight.
