3-Day Tailored Tour of Chandigarh and Shimla

Chandigarh Arrival and Sightseeing

On day 1 of the tour, our driver will pick you up from the Chandigarh airport any time between 6:00 to 10:00 AM and drive you straight to your pre-booked hotel in Chandigarh. After checking in and resting for a while, you will join us on a much-awaited Chandigarh tour. First, we will head to the Rock Garden—a unique sculpture garden made entirely out of waste materials. Then, we will take you to the Rose Garden—a picturesque botanical garden spread over a vast area. Next, we will visit the Government Museum and Art Gallery, followed by the International Dolls Museum. The museum exhibits a selection of traditional dolls from different countries.

For a picturesque getaway, we will take you to the Sukhna Lake. Apart from being a scenic site, the lake is famous for having the longest channel in Asia for yachting and rowing. Finally, we will end the day with some retail therapy in the local markets of Chandigarh. After you are done shopping, our driver will take you back to your hotel where you can retire for the night.

Shimla Sightseeing Tour

After a delicious breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and join our driver on your road trip to Shimla. Upon arrival at the hill station, you will check into your hotel and relax for some time. Then, our driver will take you on an exciting Shimla sightseeing trip. The first local attraction will be the Indian Institute of Advanced Study. Previously referred to as the Vice regal Lodge, it is a heritage site displaying magnificent Scottish architecture. Then we will take you to the 2nd oldest church in North India—the Christ Church. Next, we will visit two popular temples—the Jakhu Temple and the Kali Bari Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman and Goddess Kali, respectively.

The rest of the day will be spent at the Mall Road—one of the most vibrant and lively places in the city. You can enjoy a fun stroll through the road or shop for souvenirs. At the end, we will drop you at your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

Departure to Chandigarh

On the last day of your Chandigarh and Shimla tour, you will get a palatable breakfast at the hotel. Then, you will check out of the property as our driver comes to pick you up for your trip back to Chandigarh. After approximately 3.5 hours, you will be dropped off at the hotel/airport in Chandigarh and your 3-day tour will be complete.
