Day 1: Aurangabad City Exploration

After you arrive in Aurangabad (between 0600-1400 Hrs), our MFT driver will pick you up from the airport and drive you to your hotel. After hotel Chekin and some quick rest, you will be kick-starting your adventure! You will explore the city's historical gems, Bibi ka Maqbara & Daulatabad Fort on your first day in Aurangabad. Bibi ka Maqbara, known as the 'Taj of the Deccan', was built in 1678 by Prince Azam Shah in memory of his mother, showcasing architectural style on par with the beautiful Taj Mahal.

Nestled amid lush greenery, the 12th-century Daulatbad Fort stands atop a hill, offering a breathtaking view of the city. Its magnificent design will leave you spellbound. Click some pictures with the setting sun in the orange dusk light.

Day 2: Ajanta Caves Excursion:

Grab your early morning breakfast at the hotel and get ready for an adventure to the Ajanta Caves! The MFT driver will pick you up from your hotel for Ajanta Caves (approximately 95 km from Aurangabad). Explore the Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site by taking a stroll through the beautiful caves and enjoying the ancient Buddhist art and architecture for the day.

As a UNESCO Heritage Site, the Ajanta Caves are a mystery that will keep you wanting to see more. Treasured in the hills across the Wangorah River, the set of 29 caves hosts monumental pillars, stupas, and beautiful carvings depicting Buddhist philosophy and the teachings of Buddha through vibrant paintings and sculptures. It is considered a masterpiece of Buddhist religious art and holds a considerable artistic influence.

After an exhilarating day, our driver will drop you off at the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 3: Ellora Caves Visit:

After having your breakfast, pack your suitcase and check out of the hotel. The driver will pick you up for the Ellora Caves visit which is around 35 Km from Arungabad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring rock-cut temples and sculptures.Known for its Jainism, Buddhism, and Hinduism monuments, Ellora Caves is a fusion of religious and artistic mastery.

Also, visit the magnificent Kailasa Temple, one of the most remarkable cave temples in the world, praised for its size, architecture, and sculpture. It is a monolith carved from a rock cliff face. After a day full of exploring, our driver will drop you off at the Aurangabad airport, hotel or Railway Station marking the end of your happy journey.
