Day 1: Arrival at Nagpur + Journey to Tadoba
Your adventure begins as you arrive at Nagpur airport or railway station, where our representative will warmly welcome you. From here, you will embark on a scenic drive towards Tadoba National Park, covering approximately 145 km, which takes around 3.5 hours.
Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, approximately 150 km southeast of Nagpur. Spread over 1,727 sq. km, it includes the Tadoba National Park and the adjoining Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary. The popular site is one of India’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Known for its thriving tiger population, Tadoba is also home to leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs, and a wide variety of birdlife, making it a paradise for nature lovers.
Upon arrival, check in to your jungle lodge surrounded by raw wilderness. Spend the evening at leisure, soaking in the tranquil forest atmosphere or enjoying a relaxed walk around the property. Later, return to your hotel for a restful night’s sleep to prepare for the Tadoba National Park tour the next day.
Day 2: Tadoba National Park Tour (Morning or Evening)
If you want to go on a morning adventure, wake up early to the sounds of the forest and get ready for your Tadoba Jeep Safari, a thrilling way to explore the wild heart of the park. Morning safaris typically start around 6:00 AM, when wildlife is most active, and last approximately 3–4 hours.
During the safari, we will take you deep into the park’s dense forests, grasslands, and waterholes, offering the best chance to spot elusive tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and herds of deer. The safari also provides excellent opportunities for birdwatching, photography, and observing the raw beauty of nature. At around 10:00 AM, you will return to your lodge for breakfast and some leisure time. Relax and enjoy the serene surroundings for the rest of the day.
If you choose an evening safari, it will start at around 3:30 PM. Evening safaris are perfect for witnessing animals returning to waterholes, playing in the open, or simply observing the jungle bathed in golden light. After the safari, return to the lodge for a peaceful overnight stay.
Day 3: Tadoba to Pench Journey
After a delicious breakfast at the lodge, you will check out and go on a scenic drive to Pench National Park, covering approximately 240 km, which takes around 5–6 hours. The route takes you through charming villages, forested areas, and open countryside, offering a glimpse of rural Central India. Pench National Park straddles the border of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, with the majority of the park in Madhya Pradesh’s Seoni and Chhindwara districts. The park is named after the Pench River, which flows through its heart and nourishes its lush teak and mixed forest landscape.
As you arrive at Pench by late afternoon, you will check into your hotel or jungle resort. In the evening, take a short nature walk around the property or simply relax amid the tranquil forest surroundings. Prepare for the next day’s adventure as you get ready for your Pench National Park tour, where lush teak forests and meandering rivers create the perfect backdrop for wildlife encounters. Overnight stay will be at the same resort.
Day 4: Pench National Park Tour (Morning or Evening)
If you prefer a morning safari, begin your day with an exhilarating Jeep Safari at Pench National Park, departing around 6:00 AM. The early hours are perfect for observing the park come alive, with tigers prowling, deer grazing, and countless bird species flitting through the trees. Navigate through winding forest trails and open meadows with your expert guide, who will share fascinating stories about the park’s wildlife and its unique ecosystem. You will return to your lodge by 10:00 AM for breakfast and some downtime. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring your lodge surroundings.
If you are interested in an evening safari, we will take you on your adventure at around 3:30 PM. Evening safaris offer a chance to see animals around waterholes and enjoy the golden glow of sunset in the forest. Later, return to the resort for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 5: Drive to Nagpur + Final Departure
Wake up to a flavorful breakfast, and then check out from your lodge and begin your drive back to Nagpur, covering approximately 96 km, which takes around 2–2.5 hours. The scenic journey offers glimpses of rural life, forests, and open landscapes, providing a gentle farewell to Central India’s wilderness.
On arrival in Nagpur, you will be dropped at the airport or railway station for your onward journey. This concludes your Central India Wildlife Tour Package, leaving you with unforgettable memories of thrilling safaris, lush forests, and close encounters with the region’s iconic wildlife.
