5-Day Leh-Ladakh Tour: Exploring Khardung La Pass & Pangong Lake

Day 1: Arrival and Local Sightseeing

Upon your arrival at the Leh Airport, you'll be greeted by our driver and transferred to your hotel. After checking into your hotel, take some time to acclimatize to the altitude. Later in the day, you will be exploring the must-visit places in Leh-Ladakh, including the Leh Palace, offering stunning views of Stok Kangri Mountain and the Ladakh Mountain range.

Next, we will take you to the Leh Market to shop for unique souvenirs, like Pashmina shawls, wool garments, Tibetan handicrafts, and traditional jewelry. You will also visit the Hall of Fame Museum which was built in memory of Indo-Pakistan War soldiers. End your day with a visit to the serene Shanti Stupa, a significant place for the Buddhists, that offers panoramic views of Leh city. You will then be dropped off at your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Monastery Tour

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, our driver will pick you up for a monastery tour in Leh. You will be exploring three famous monasteries, each offering unique architecture and cultural insights. First is the Shey Monastery which features a 10-meter high Buddha statue. Next is the Thiksey Monastery whose 12-storey high architectural magnificence is a sight to behold. Finally, visit the Hemis Monastery which is known for its exquisite selection of Buddhist antiques. After a day full of exploration, our driver will drop you off at your hotel to relax for the night. 

Day 3: Pangong Lake Visit

Day 3 is the most interesting day of your Leh tour. After relishing a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel, our driver will drive you to Pangong Lake via the Chang La Pass, known as one of the world's highest motorable roads. The lake extends from India to China and is situated at a height of 4350 meters. Witness the lake changing colors and absorb the beauty of the soothing view. After capturing beautiful memories, return to Leh for your overnight stay.

Day 4: Khardung La Pass Visit

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to one of the most thrilling things to do in Leh-Ladakh—enjoying a drive to Khardung La Pass. Located at a height of 18,360 ft, it is also one of the world's highest motorable passes. Enjoy the adventurous journey amidst snow-covered mountains. In the afternoon, we will take you back to Leh for relaxation. Later in the evening, you can go shopping in the local markets of Leh. 

Day 5: Departure from Leh

After enjoying your last breakfast of the Leh-Ladakh tour package, you will be taken back to the airport. As the tour comes to an end, you will continue your journey with beautiful memories of the 5-day tour of Leh-Ladakh.
