Day 1: Arrival at Raipur + Journey to Kanha
Arrive at Raipur airport or railway station, where our representative will receive you. After a warm welcome, proceed on a scenic Raipur to Kanha private transfer through about a 180 km stretch of forested landscapes and villages towards Kanha National Park.
Located in the Maikal range of the Satpura hills, Kanha is one of the finest tiger reserves in the world. Its lush Sal forests, grassy meadows, and thriving wildlife make it a true jewel of Madhya Pradesh. It is also famous as the home of the rare swamp deer (barasingha) and the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book.
After about 5 hours, you will arrive at your destination—a comfortable resort in Kanha. On arrival, check in at your resort and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay will be at the same place.
Day 2: Kanha National Park Tour (Morning or Evening Safari)
Begin your day early for a morning Kanha Jungle Safari. The park is home to tigers, leopards, wild dogs, sloth bears, and over 300 bird species. If you opt to visit in the morning, you will see the forest waking up in the cool morning light. After an adventurous start to the day, you will return to the resort, have a flavoursome breakfast, and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
If you prefer an evening safari, we can plan that for you. During your thrilling escapade, you will experience Kanha during golden hours, ideal for spotting wildlife and photography. If you do not wish to opt for a safari or are looking for other things to do in your free time, you can enjoy nature trails, relax at the lodge, or interact with local communities. At night, return to your comfortable room for a restful night’s sleep.
Day 3: Kanha to Bandhavgarh Journey
Day 3 will mark the beginning of your Bandhavgarh National Park tour. After having a delicious meal for breakfast at your resort, you will check out and join us on a 7-hour journey to Bandhavgarh.
Located in the Vindhya ranges of Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh is world-famous for its high tiger density and was once the hunting reserve of the Maharajas of Rewa. The park’s terrain includes steep ridges, rolling forests, and open grasslands. It is also historically significant—the ruins of Bandhavgarh Fort stand as silent sentinels over the forest. Apart from tigers, the park shelters gaur (Indian bison), sloth bears, leopards, wild boars, and spotted deer.
As you arrive at your Bandhavgarh stay in the evening, check in at your resort, and enjoy a memorable overnight stay amidst the wilderness.
Day 4: Bandhavgarh National Park Tour (Morning or Evening Safari)
After waking up, you can either go on a morning Bandhavgarh Jeep Safari before breakfast or have your meal and head out for the safari in the evening. Bandhavgarh National Park is a photographer’s delight, with its mix of meadows, forests, and historic ruins.
An early tour allows you to spot the wildlife in the soft morning light. However, if you opt for an evening tour, you can watch the park transform as the sun dips behind the hills. During the free time back at the resort, you can explore nearby villages, learn about local culture, or simply enjoy the tranquillity of your stay. Later, retire for the night in your comfortable room to prepare for your journey the next day.
Day 5: Journey to Jabalpur + Final Departure
Begin the last day of your tour with a delicious breakfast and then check out of the resort. Our driver will then take you to Jabalpur. Depending on your schedule, you will be dropped at the Jabalpur airport or railway station for your onward journey, carrying with you memories of the thrilling Kanha and Bandhavgarh Jungle Safari tour.
