5-Day Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela with Meditation, Akhara Visit, and Camping

Day 1: Arrival in Prayagraj

Day 1 of our Kumbh Mela tour package will begin with your arrival in the city of Triveni Sangam—Prayagraj. Once you reach our campsite, you will be welcomed with a refreshing tea. We will brief you about the 5-day tour and the various activities and events it comprises. The rest of the day can be spent at your leisure. You can utilize it in exploring the onsite activities. In the evening, we will take you to an ancient temple in the city for the evening aarti. After this, you will be taken back to your camp where you can rest for the night.

Day 2: Meditation and Akhara Visit

The day will begin with a calming yoga and meditation session that will last for an hour. Then, you will enjoy a delicious vegetarian breakfast at the campsite. After a hearty breakfast, we will take you to the Akhara tour. An Akhara is a temporary tented place where people practice and are trained on the path of spiritual enlightenment. It offers lodging and boarding facilities, too. Various Akharas participate in the Kumbh Mela, including Juna, Naga, Niranjani, Vaisnav, and Kinnar, among others. Out of these, the Juna Akhara is the largest order of the Sadhus.

After exploring a few Akharas, we will return to the campsite for a palatable lunch. Post lunch, you can choose to visit some more Akharas or enjoy the activities at the campsite. In the evening, you will be served a tasty vegetarian meal for dinner. After this, you can spend the night in your camp.

Day 3: Visiting the Remaining Akharas

Similar to the previous day, day 3 of the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela 2025 will begin with an hour-long yoga and meditation session. Then, you will relish a vegetarian breakfast. After this, we will continue our guided Akhara tour, covering the remaining sects. After lunch, you can choose to rest or enjoy the on-site activities. Later, you can head to one of the Akharas to listen to a sermon from a spiritual leader. In the evening, you will have dinner at the campsite followed by a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 4: Boatride and Prayagraj Tour

After breakfast, we will take you on a soothing boat ride at Sangam—the confluence of 3 holy rivers, namely Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati. Then, we will head on an exciting Prayagraj city tour covering popular religious centers like Mankameshwar Temple—a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva that is believed to have been formed by Lord Rama himself. Other attractions include Hanuman Temple which is believed to be 700 years old, Alopi Devi Temple—a Shakti Peetha where the last parts of Goddess Sati fell before she disappeared from the realm, Allahabad Fort—a magnificent structure dating back to the Mughal era, and Saraswati Ghat—a splendid spot on the banks of river Yamuna.

After exploring these divine sites, you can also spend some time enjoying an interactive session with some of the Akhara leaders. After this, you will be served a flavorful dinner at the campsite before retiring for the night.

Day 5: Tour End

This will mark the end of your spiritually satisfying and memorable Maha Kumbh Mela tour. After a scrumptious breakfast at the campsite, our representative will bid farewell to you, and you can continue your onward journey.
