  • Day 1 (09-12-2025)

Day 1: Arrival at Gwalior + City Tour

Upon arrival at Gwalior railway station or airport, our representative will welcome you and assist with a transfer. After about a 30-minute drive to your hotel, you will check in and get some rest. Then, it will be time to begin your Gwalior city tour, exploring the city’s iconic heritage sites.

The tour starts with the majestic Gwalior Fort, perched on a sandstone hill about 3 km from the city Centre. This 8th-century fort has witnessed centuries of royal history and houses palaces, temples, and courtyards that reflect the grandeur of the Tomar and Mughal dynasties. Next, you will visit the Teli Ka Mandir, known for its towering spire and unique blend of Hindu and Buddhist architectural styles. A short 10-minute drive will take you to the intricately carved Saas Bahu Ka Mandir, celebrated for its exquisite sculptures and artistic elegance.

If time permits, you can also explore the Jai Vilas Palace, about 5 km from the fort, which showcases opulent interiors and a museum with rare artefacts of the Scindia royal family. Later, you will return to your hotel with our driver and call it a night.

  • Day 2 (10-12-2025)

Day 2: Gwalior to Khajuraho + En Route Orchha Visit

Begin your day with a hearty meal. After breakfast, check out and embark on a scenic drive towards Khajuraho, with a stop at the historic town of Orchha for a captivating Orchha heritage tour.

Orchha is about 230 km from Gwalior, which takes roughly 5 hours by road. Upon reaching the town, you will begin exploring the impressive Orchha Fort Complex, a collection of palaces and temples that narrate the legacy of the Bundela rulers. You will first start with the Raj Mahal, situated just 500 meters from the fort entrance (around 5 minutes’ walk or drive), where its elaborate frescoes and river-facing vistas leave a lasting impression. A brief 700-meter drive will bring you to the grand Jahangir Mahal, a palace built in honors of Emperor Jahangir, boasting beautiful courtyards and intricate architectural details.

Next, you will visit the sacred Raja Ram Temple, located approximately 1 km from Jahangir Mahal, a major pilgrimage site attracting devotees from across the country. At last, you will conclude your Orchha visit with a stroll along the Bundela Chhatris, about 2 km along the riverbank from the temple, where the ornate cenotaphs glow beautifully during sunset. If interested, you can also opt for a boat ride on the calm waters of the Betwa River.

After soaking in Orchha’s rich heritage, we will continue the drive to Khajuraho, covering 65 km in roughly 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

  • Day 3 (11-12-2025)

    Day 3: Khajuraho Temple Tour

Wake up to a palatable breakfast before embarking on a full-day Khajuraho Temples tour to explore the town’s remarkable UNESCO-recognized temples. Begin with the Western Group of Temples, located about 3 km from the city Centre. It includes the famous Kandariya Mahadev Temple, celebrated for its intricate carvings and detailed sculptures dedicated to Lord Shiva. These temples showcase exceptional craftsmanship and are a highlight for anyone interested in art, history, and spirituality.

After exploring the Western Group, we will head to the Eastern Group of Temples, approximately 2 km away. It includes the serene Jain temples of Adinatha and Parsvanatha, known for their delicate carvings and tranquil ambience. Spend the day wandering through temple courtyards, appreciating the remarkable stonework, and capturing the rich cultural heritage of Khajuraho before returning to the hotel for a restful night’s sleep.

Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and prepare for an exciting Panna Jeep Safari in the afternoon (supplementary tour available at additional cost).

The safari offers a thrilling opportunity to explore the rich wildlife and natural beauty of Panna National Park, a critical tiger habitat nestled in the Vindhya Hills. Traverse through teak and mixed forests, expansive plateaus, and gorges while spotting a variety of flora and fauna, with the scenic Ken River adding charm to the experience.
