6-Day Leh-Ladakh Tour: Visiting Khardung La Pass, Pangong Lake & Monasteries

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Your tour will begin as our driver picks you up from the Leh Kushok Bakula Airport. You will be greeted warmly and transferred to your hotel at Leh. After checking into the hotel, take some time to settle in and acclimate to the altitude. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Local Sightseeing

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before leaving for the much-awaited Ladakh monastery tour. Our driver will take you to the renowned monasteries of Leh. Experience the architectural excellence of Shey Monastery—famous for the 10-meter high statue of Lord Buddha; Thiksey Monastery—an architectural masterpiece with 12 stories and 10 shrines; and Hemis Monastery—a place housing amazing Buddhist antiques. Finally, we will take you to the Stok Palace Museum, a heritage site belonging to the royal family of Ladakh. You will then be dropped off at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Alchi Monastery Tour

Day 3 of your sightseeing tour of Leh will begin with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, followed by a trip to one of the oldest monasteries in Leh—the Alchi Monastery. The ancient monastery is about 1 hour away from Leh and is renowned for its intricately carved paintings and Buddha statues. The place houses two famous temples—Lakhang Soma and Lotsabha Lakhang. After exploring the monastery and its temples, our driver will take you back to your hotel in Leh for a relaxing night's stay. 

Day 4: Khardung La Pass Visit

Get pumped up as the new day brings a lot of adventures. After breakfast, you will embark on an exciting 1-hour-long drive to Khardung La Pass, one of the most popular places to visit in Leh-Ladakh. Located at a height of 18,360 ft, it is amongst the world's highest motorable passes. Experience the thrill of navigating through rugged terrain amidst the breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains. Return to Leh and spend the evening shopping at local markets. Overnight stay will be at the same hotel.

Day 5: Trip to Pangong Lake

Rise and shine as this day brings you close to the end of your Leh-Ladakh tour. Our driver will escort you to discover the magic of Pangong Lake, one of the must-visit places in Leh-Ladakh, by taking a trip through Chang La Pass. The place is at a distance of about 4-5 hours from Leh. Located at 4,350 meters, the lake extends from India to China. You will be captivated by its beauty and peaceful ambience. After capturing beautiful views and memories, our driver will bring you back to your hotel in Leh for an overnight stay. 

Day 6: Departure from Leh

Indulge in a delightful breakfast and bid farewell to the captivating land of Ladakh. As our driver drops you at the airport for your onward journey, depart with cherished memories of your Leh-Ladakh tour package.
