6 Days of Exciting Excursions in Bangalore, Mysore, and Ooty

Day 1: Bangalore City Tour

Your Bangalore, Mysore, and Ooty Tour itinerary begins with our representative picking you up from the Bangalore airport at around 8 in the morning. You will be ushered to a pre-booked hotel in Bangalore where you will check in and relax for a while. After you are re-energized and ready for your tour, you will join our driver and guide for a visit to the Lalbagh Botanical Garden. You will also be enjoying a battery car ride here.

Next, you will be taken to Vidhan Soudha—the state legislative assembly building, Cubbon Park—a green paradise at the heart of the city that is spread over 300 acres of land, Bangalore Palace—a 19th-century masterpiece modeled after England’s Windsor Castle, and ISKCON Temple—one of the largest ISKCON temples in the world! After this, our driver will drop you back to your hotel.

Later, you can explore the popular MG Road, visiting the shopping centers and food outlets. After enjoying a fun shopping spree, you will return to the hotel on our transport and have a good night’s sleep.

Day 2: Bangalore—Mysore

The day will begin with a tasty breakfast at the hotel, after which you will check out and head with us to Mysore. On the way, we will stop by Srirangapatnam town. Located at a 15 km distance from Mysore, the place is home to several famous attractions like Gumbaz, Srirangapatnam Fort, Daria Daulat Bagh, and Ranganathaswamy Temple. You will then continue on your journey to Mysore with us.

Upon arrival, you will check in at the pre-booked hotel in Mysore and relax for some time. We will then take you to the Vrindavan Gardens—a place adorned with magnificent gazebos, pergolas, and a musical fountain. Later, our driver will drop you to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Mysore City Tour

Day 3 of the tour is all about a thrilling Mysore sightseeing trip. Post breakfast at the hotel, you will explore Mysore with an experienced guide. First, you will visit the Mysore Palace—an opulent structure that was the official residence of the Wadiyar Dynasty. You will get to explore the premises in a battery-operated car. Next, you will be taken to the Chamundeshwari Temple and St. Philomena’s Church. After you have explored these places to your heart’s content, we will drop you at the hotel where you can enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4: Mysore—Ooty

Once you have had your breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and leave for Ooty in our chauffeur-driven AC vehicle. On the way, we will stop by the Bandipur National Park which is popular for its rich wildlife. Then, we will resume our trip to Ooty. Upon reaching the hotel, you will check-in and take some rest. After that, your Ooty excursions will begin.

Our guide will accompany you on this tour. First, you will visit Ooty Lake where you will enjoy a scenic boat ride. Next, we will take you to the Rose Garden and Botanical Garden. After a gala time enjoying the panoramic view, we will drop you to your hotel to retire for the night.

Day 5: Ooty Tour

After relishing a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will begin with the day’s exciting activities. First, you will enjoy a 1-hour toy train ride from Ooty to Coonoor. En route, you will get beautiful glimpses of the mesmerizing natural beauty that surrounds the place.

Upon arrival at the Coonoor railway station, you will be received by our representative. Then, you will join our driver and tour guide on the Coonoor sightseeing trip, including visits to Dolphin’s Nose—a viewpoint located 5075 feet above sea level, Tea Factory and Tea Garden, and Doddabetta Peak—the 4th highest peak in South India.

After your Coonoor trip, our driver will take you to your hotel in Ooty. You can stroll on Mall Road later in the evening, followed by a peaceful overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 6: Ooty—Bangalore

The last day of your Bangalore, Mysore, and Ooty tour will begin as usual with a lip-smacking breakfast at the hotel. Then, you will check out and join us on your drive back to the Bangalore airport. After safely dropping you off at the airport, the tour will come to an end!

You will have to buy the toy train ticket from the ticket window on your own. Our driver can assist you in getting the ticket. The cost of each ticket is approximately 1-2 US dollars.
