Affordable 3-Day Amritsar Tour Package Without Hotel Accommodation

Day 1: Amritsar Arrival and Wagah Border Visit

A representative from My Flight Trip will meet you at the airport, railway station, or hotel specified by you and drop you at the hotel that you have booked for yourself. At around 3:00 PM, our driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby and your much-awaited Amritsar excursions will begin. First, we will take you to the famous Wagah Border to watch the Indo-Pak Beating Retreat Ceremony. You’ll see soldiers from both countries parading and shaking hands followed by a flag-lowering ritual. If you are a foreign national, we offer you access to the Foreigner’s Gallery for a special viewing experience.

After watching the ceremony, you will be dropped back at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Amritsar City Tour

At about 9:00 AM on day 2, our driver, accompanied by a local tour guide, will meet you at the hotel lobby and take you for your Amritsar city tour. It will begin with a visit to the glorious Golden Temple—the holy place of the Sikhs. The stunning architecture of the temple surrounded by the tranquil Amrit Sarovar is a sight to behold. After exploring the premises, you will head to your next destination—the Jallianwala Bagh. The historic site takes you back to the massacre of 1919 when hundreds of innocent men, women, and children were shot dead as General Dyer ordered open firing.

After exploring the memorial and getting a deep insight into the place from the tour guide, you will head to the Hall Bazaar for a fun shopping experience. You can also explore other local markets to make the most of your retail therapy. Then, we will drive you back to your hotel. But, the day’s activities do not end here. At around 9:00 PM, we will again take you to the Golden Temple for the evening Palki Ceremony. Here, you will see the ritual of Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikhs, being carried to the other room for the night as people sing the melodious Gurbani Kirtan. After Ardas, a Sikh prayer, a delightful Karah Prasad will be served to the devotees. After this, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Day 3: Departure from Amritsar

Day 3 will mark the end of your 3-day Amritsar tour. Our driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airport/railway station, as per your instructions. After successfully dropping you to your destination, we will take your leave and you can continue on your onward journey.
