At 6:30 AM, our representative and driver will pick you up from the hotel for your tour to the Ancient Temples of Belur, Halebid, and Shravanabelagola. Enjoy breakfast in a local restaurant in Yediyur village.
Head to Shravanabelagola, a renowned Jain pilgrimage, known for the 57-foot-tall Lord Gomateswara statue, the world's tallest monolithic stone statue. It requires climbing 700 steps to reach the statue which is over 1000 years old. The site features two ponds, eight Hindu temples, and four mandaps.
After a delicious lunch, you will be taken to Belur, Hassan district, a 2-hour drive away. Visit the Chennakeshava temple on the banks of the Yagachi River, a masterpiece of Hoysala architecture devoted to Lord Vishnu.
Next, visit 'Halebeedu' meaning 'ruined city,' twice abolished by Mughals. There are two Lord Shiva temples (Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara) and two Jain temples, featuring walls depicting Vishnu, Arjuna, Varahi, Elephants, Ganesha, Vamana, and more. The Day tour concludes as we drop you back to your Bangalore hotel.
