Day 1: Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj Tour
As you arrive at the Dharamshala Airport/railway station, our driver will meet you and take you directly to your hotel in Dharamshala. After checking in, get ready and join us for a thrilling McLeod Ganj trip. After about a 30-minute drive, you will reach your first destination—the Church of St. John in the Wilderness. Situated in the breathtakingly beautiful deodar forests, this Protestant church is where nature’s beauty meets spirituality.
After exploring the forest church, you will visit the Dalai Lama Temple, which is just 10 minutes away. Also called the Namgyal Monastery, it is the place where the 14th Dalai Lama lives. It houses a grand Buddha statue and is a repository of Buddhist culture. Once the Dalai Lama Temple sightseeing is complete, we will arrive at the Bhagsu Nag Temple after a 15-minute drive. The temple is known for being quaint and peaceful. You will also be taken to the nearby Bhagsu Waterfall. Take a leisurely walk and soak in the serene beauty of the site before heading to the next destination, i.e. the Tibetan Market. Here, you can shop for souvenirs like local handicrafts, jewelry, clothing, etc.
Next, we will leave for the Norbulingka Institute in Dharamshala, which is a 40-minute drive from McLeod Ganj. The institute strives for the preservation of Tibetan culture. You can visit the Tibetan craft museum and workshop to get a deeper understanding. Then, we will reach the Gyuto Monastery after an 8-minute drive. This monastery specializes in Tantric meditation, Buddhist Philosophy, and Tantric rituals.
For the last attraction of the day, you will visit the Tea Gardens, which are just 25 minutes from the monastery. Here, you will enjoy a guided tea plantation tour. The beautifully lined tea gardens display nature’s beauty at its best. With this, day 1 of your Dharamshala–Kangra Tour Package will come to an end, and we will drop you at the hotel in Dharamshala, where you can retire for the night.
Day 2: Dharamshala and Kangra Valley Tour
Day 2 will be all about an eye-pleasing Kangra Valley tour. After relishing a tasty breakfast at the hotel, our driver will take you to the Masroor Temples. It is at an hour’s distance from Dharamshala and is a popular tourist spot. These 8th-century rock-cut temples have been carved from a single rock and are a sight to behold. You also get to enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape from the temples, which adds to the beautiful experience.
After this, we will take you on the Kangra Fort trip. It is about 50 minutes from the rock-cut temples. This remarkable landmark is the oldest fort in the Himalayas! As per Indian mythology, the history of the iconic forts spans 4000 years. After exploring the fort, we will visit the nearby Brijeshwari Mata Temple, which is just 8 minutes away from the fort. It is one of the 51 Shakti Pithas, so it holds great significance for devotees and spiritual travelers.
After a divine temple tour, it will be time for you to return to your hotel. Our driver will drop you off on time for a peaceful overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure from Dharamshala
Wake up to a mesmerizing view of the mountains and then have a hearty breakfast. After that, you will check out of the hotel, and our driver will drop you off at the airport/railway station. With this, your memorable Dharamshala trip with Kangra Valley will come to a beautiful end.

50% of the travel cost will be deducted on cancellation before 3-9 days of the tour’s commencement
