
Day 1: Kochi Arrival & Sightseeing
Upon arrival in Kochi for a memorable Kerala tour, you'll be warmly greeted at the airport/railway station and escorted to your hotel. Check-in and rest briefly before our driver takes you on your Kochi city tour. You will be visiting St. Francis Church—one of the oldest European churches in the country; Santa Cruz Basilica—one of the only 34 basilicas in India; the Jewish Synagogue called Paradesi Synagogue; Mattancherry Palace which is popularly known as the Dutch Palace, and the renowned Chinese Fishing Nets.
Later in the evening, enjoy a captivating Kathakali Dance Show, a traditional dance form of Kerala that artistically depicts stories of Indian epics like Mahabharata. Then, return to your hotel in Kochi with our driver and spend the night there.
Day 2: Arrival at Munnar
The next morning, you will have a hearty breakfast before checking out of the hotel. Post that, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a comfortable journey to explore Munnar—one of the most popular places in Kerala. On the way, enjoy the mesmerizing landscapes and beautiful waterfalls. After a drive of around 4 hours, you will reach Munnar and check in at your hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Munnar Excursions
Before proceeding with your Munnar sightseeing tour, have a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Then, our tour guide will take you on a private Kerala Wildlife Tour. Explore Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, and visit Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point for stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. Later, you will visit the popular Tea Museum in Munnar, and learn about the region's tea-growing heritage. After a fun day tour of Munnar, you will return to your hotel with our driver and retire for the night.
Day 4: Periyar/Thekkady Tour
On day four, you will check out of your Munnar hotel after breakfast and proceed on a 4-hour drive to Thekaddy, also known as Periyar. Our driver will directly take you to a spice plantation where you will learn about the different spices of Kerala and how they are grown. Then, you will be taken to your hotel to check in and get ready for an exciting day ahead.
You will be picked up and taken for your day’s excursion to Periyar, beginning with a boat ride on Periyar Lake. The lake is located within the Periyar National Park and is a scenic destination. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as elephants, sambar deer, and if you're lucky, even a tiger! After an exciting Periyar wildlife tour, our driver will drop you off at your hotel in Thekkady where you will enjoy a restful night’s sleep.
Day 5: Houseboat Stay in Kumarakom
If the idea of living in a houseboat excites you, then day 5 would be a much-awaited day for you! You will begin the day with breakfast and then check out of your hotel. You will reach Kumarakom after a drive of about 3.5 hours. Here, board a traditional houseboat and cruise along the scenic backwaters of Kerala. Relax and unwind as you soak in the serene surroundings, enjoying this unique experience of a houseboat tour. All meals will be served on board. Spend the night on the houseboat, cruising peacefully on the tranquil waters.
Day 6: Arrival at Goa
As you wake up and enjoy your breakfast at the houseboat, it will be time to disembark and join our driver for the next leg of the tour. For this, we will take you to the Cochin International Airport. The drive is about 2 hours long. Here you will be boarding the flight to Goa. Upon arrival at Goa, our driver will receive you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay at the beautiful hotel, planning the next day’s events where you will explore the must-visit places in North Goa.
Day 7: North Goa Sightseeing
Begin your day with a buffet breakfast at your hotel, followed by North Goa sightseeing. First, you will visit the historic churches of Old Goa, including the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral, among others. Then, we will take you to other popular attractions, such as Panjim City, Altinho—the hill neighborhood of Goa’s capital, and Dona Paula View Point—a rocky area overlooking the Arabian Sea that is rather famous among tourists. After a day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for a relaxing night stay.
Day 8: Departure from Goa
Start the last day of the tour with a delectable meal for breakfast, and then check out of the hotel. Our driver will be waiting for you to drop you off at Goa Airport. Upon safely dropping you off, the driver will take your leave, and your memorable 8-day Kerala tour with North Goa will come to an end.
