Kerala Honeymoon Tour for 6 Days with Houseboat Ride, Wildlife Tour & Munnar Sightseeing

Day 1: Kochi Arrival & Sightseeing

As you arrive at Kochi for your romantic honeymoon in Kerala, our driver will be waiting for you at the 

Kochi Airport/Ernakulam Railway Station. He will drop you at your hotel where you will check in. After a warm traditional welcome and brief relaxation at the hotel, it will be time to leave for Kochi sightseeing.

The tour will begin with a trip to St. Francis Church—one of the oldest European churches in the country. Then, we will visit Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, and Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening, you will watch a captivating Kathakali Dance Show performed by artists dressed in vibrant outfits. After a delightful day exploring Kochi’s culture and monuments, you will return to your hotel. Dinner will be served, after which you can retire for the night.

Day 2: Arrival at Munnar

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast and then check out of the hotel to join our driver on your trip to Munnar. En route, you will stop by many picturesque sites featuring mesmerizing waterfalls and landscapes that make Kerala one of the top places to visit for your honeymoon in India. Capture photographs and spend quality time with your partner. The journey from Kochi to Munnar takes 4 hours approximately. Upon arriving at Munnar, you will check into your hotel, relish a tasty dinner, and call it a night.

Day 3: Munnar Excursions

On day 3, eat a palatable breakfast at the hotel, and then head out with our driver for Munnar sightseeing. During the day, you will explore Munnar's beautiful attractions, including Eravikulam National Park—home to the Nilgiri Tahr; Mattupetty Dam—an engineering marvel; Echo Point—a scenic picnic spot known for its acoustic charm; and Tea Museum—featuring a collection of tea processing equipment and photographs. Later, return to the hotel with our driver, have dinner, and take a restful night’s sleep.

Day 4: Thekkady/Periyar Tour

As you wake up and get ready, you will be provided a delicious complimentary breakfast. After that, you will check out of the hotel, and head to Thekkady with our driver. It’s a 4-hour journey from Munnar. Upon reaching Thekkady, first you will visit the spice plantation. Walk through the plantation to learn how different spices are grown and harvested. Then, our driver will take you to your hotel in Thekkady, where you will check in and relax for a while.

Later, get ready to explore the Periyar Lake and National Park—some of the best honeymoon destinations in India. Enjoy a boat ride at Periyar Lake and see many fascinating animals, like tigers, elephants, and sambar deer's, in their natural habitat at Periyar National Park. Post that, return to your hotel for a scrumptious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Houseboat Stay in Kumarakom

After breakfast at the Thekkady hotel, you will check out and proceed to Kumarakom for your much-awaited houseboat tour in  Kerala backwaters. After about 3.5 hours, you will reach the backwaters and board the houseboat. Recieve a warm welcome from the staff and get ready to enjoy a pleasant stay with your partner. Lunch and dinner will be provided on board, so that you can enjoy delicious meals while savoring the unparalleled surrounding beauty. After enjoying the panoramic views, have a peaceful overnight stay on the houseboat itself.

Day 6: Departure from Kochi

Savor a palatable breakfast while enjoying a mesmerizing sunrise view from the houseboat. Then, deboard and join our driver on your return trip to the Cochin Airport/Railway Station which will take about 2 hours. With this, your 6-day Kerala honeymoon tour will reach its conclusion, and you can continue your onward journey with a bag full of happy memories!

• The Tea Museum in Munnar stays closed on Mondays, so plan your tour accordingly.
