Private 6-Day Sightseeing Tour of Srinagar with Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Sonmarg

Day 1: Arrival and Sightseeing in Srinagar

As you arrive at the airport in Srinagar, our driver will be waiting for you. Hop into our AC vehicle, and enjoy a quick, scenic ride to your hotel in Srinagar. After checking in, you can rest for a while and head out with our driver for your Srinagar excursions. We will take you to the divine Dal Lake, which is the second largest lake in Kashmir. This stunning freshwater body is popular for Shikara rides. You will enjoy a peaceful Shikara ride on a sharing basis at Dal Lake. As you cruise on the water, you will catch mesmerizing glimpses of the Mughal Gardens—Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. You can also spot Common Pariah Kites, Kingfisher, and Grebe during the Shikara ride.

After spending some peaceful moments at Dal Lake, you will return to your hotel. Dinner will be served at the hotel, after which you can retire for the night.

Day 2: Trip to the Mughal Gardens in Srinagar

On the 2nd day of the tour, you will relish a delicious breakfast at the hotel and then move out on a tour of the must-visit places in Srinagar, i.e. the Mughal Gardens. Located at a distance of 40 minutes from the city center, Shalimar Bagh is the first Mughal Garden you will be exploring. The marvelous garden is known for its eye-catching Persian style of architecture, arched niches, and garden waterfalls. Being the largest Mughal Garden in Kashmir, it is a renowned place for tourism.

Next, we will visit Nishat Bagh, the 2nd largest Mughal Garden in Kashmir. The grandiose 12-terraced garden is a sight to sore eyes and the perfect place to witness the opulence of the bygone era. Both these Mughal Gardens located on the banks of the Dal Lake feature fabulous fountains, vibrant flowers, and wonderful Chinar-lined landscapes. After absorbing the surrounding beauty, our driver will drop you at your hotel. You can relax or spend the rest of the day at your leisure. After enjoying a palatable meal for dinner, return to your room for a sound sleep.

Day 3: Gulmarg Tour

Wake up to a tempting breakfast on day 3 of the tour. Then, join our driver on a 2-hour-long drive to Gulmarg. Located at 2,650 meters, Gulmarg is a paradise on Earth! Even the ride from Srinagar to Gulmarg is full of breathtaking views. As you reach your destination, we will take you for the Gondola cable ride which is amongst the most popular things to do in Gulmarg.

Enjoy watching the snow-clad mountains and pine and maple trees pass by as you reach the top—the Apharwat Peak. Situated at 4,390 meters above sea level, it is a magnificent site offering panoramic views of the Nanga Parbat and Harmukh Mountains. You can also take a Pony ride here for a unique experience. Next, we will visit the world’s highest green golf course—the Gulmarg Golf Course. This 18-hole golf course is a renowned travel attraction and, therefore, a must-visit place.

Later, our driver will drop you off at your hotel in Srinagar. Have a tasty dinner, and then retire for the night to get ready for the next day’s adventures.

Day 4: Pahalgam Trip

After relishing a mouthwatering breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for an exciting day of Pahalgam sightseeing tour. The journey from Srinagar to Pahalgam takes about 2.5 hours. En route, we will stop by the Saffron Farms in Pampore—the largest saffron plantation in India. As you reach Pahalgam, you will be in awe of its beauty. Located on the banks of the Lidder River at an altitude of 2,200 meters, it is a hotspot for adventure activities like rafting on serpentine rapids.

As the day proceeds, we will visit Chandanwari—the originating source of the Amarnath Yatra. Needless to say, it is a significant spot for Hindu pilgrims and, therefore, a rather popular destination. Soak in the beauty of the picturesque mountains and glaciers, before joining our driver in your journey back to Srinagar. Upon arriving at the hotel in Srinagar, have a flavorful dinner, and return to your room for the overnight stay.

Day 5: Sonmarg Sightseeing

Enjoy a delightful breakfast with a scenic view. Then, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Sonmarg. As the 2-hour-long drive comes to an end, you will be ready to explore popular places to visit in Sonmarg. Located at an altitude of 2,800 meters, Sonmarg features gorgeous snowscapes. It is home to the Thajiwas Glacier whose silver beauty next to green meadows and under clear blue skies looks ethereal.

You can enjoy a pony ride here to make the most of your trip to Sonmarg. Then, return to your hotel in Srinagar with our driver. Relish a scrumptious dinner and enjoy a good night’s sleep in your comfortable room.

Day 6: Departure from Srinagar

As you wake up, enjoy the last complimentary breakfast of your Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonmarg, and Pahalgam tour package. Our driver will be waiting for you at the hotel lobby. Check out of the hotel and head to the airport. After dropping you off successfully and bidding you farewell, the tour will be complete and you can continue your ongoing journey.
