Puri-Bhubaneshwar Tour for 4 Days Covering Jagannath Temple, Udayagiri & Khandagiri Caves, Konark Sun Temple & More

Day 1: Bhubaneshwar to Puri Journey with En Route Excursions

Begin your Puri-Bhubaneshwar tour by meeting our driver at the Bhubaneshwar Airport/Railway Station. Settle into the private AC vehicle and then leave for Puri. The journey will take about 1.5 hours. On the way, you will visit the Dhauli Peace Pagoda—a Shanti Stupa atop the Dhauli Hill and 108 Shivling Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. We will also take you on the revered Lingaraj Temple tour which is the largest and one of the oldest temples in Bhubaneshwar. Upon your arrival at Puri, you will check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day chilling at the Puri Beach. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 2: Puri Tour Including Temples & Lake

Wake up to a scrumptious breakfast, and then join our driver for the much-awaited Jagannath Temple visit. It is one of the 4 Char Dham sites and a prominent pilgrimage location for Hindus. We will also take you to the Gundicha Temple—the destination of the Rath Yatra that begins from the Jagannath Temple. After the temple tour, we will leave for Satpada, which is about 1.5 hours from the Gundicha Temple. The sanctuary is most famous for the Chilika Lake which is home to nearly 150 Irrawaddy Dolphins!

After a full day of sightseeing in Satpada, we will drop you to your hotel in Puri. Spend a peaceful overnight stay in the comfort of your cosy room.

Day 3: Konark Sun Temple Tour & Other Attractions

Have a refreshing buffet breakfast at the hotel and then embark on a scenic drive to Konark via the Marine Drive which will take about an hour. En route, stop at the serene Chandrabhaga Beach, a spot known for its picturesque coastal views and gentle sea breeze. Next, visit the sacred Ramchandi Temple—a peaceful and spiritually uplifting site.

Later, we will take you on the Konark Sun Temple Tour. Also known as the Black Pagoda, this 13th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site is an architectural marvel designed in the shape of a colossal chariot with intricately carved stone wheels, pillars, and walls. Finally, we will drop you at your hotel in Puri for a relaxing stay.

Day 4: Bhubaneshwar Local Sightseeing Tour

Start the last day of the tour with a delightful breakfast and then check out of the hotel. Our driver will take you back to Bhubaneshwar for a memorable sightseeing tour. First, we will take you on a Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves tour. These historic caves are among the oldest rock-cut caves in India and reflect the influence of Jainism and Buddhism in ancient Odisha.

Next, you will visit the beautiful Mukteshwar Temple, renowned for its exquisite stone arch and intricate carvings, often regarded as a gem of Odishan temple architecture. Then, you will continue to the elegant Rajarani Temple, notable for its unique architectural style and absence of any presiding deity, making it a marvel in its own right.

Later, you will head to the Nandankanan Zoological Park, a renowned zoo and botanical garden that also serves as a sanctuary for white tigers and other exotic wildlife. In the end, we will take you to explore the Odisha State Tribal Museum which offers insightful exhibits on the tribal cultures, traditions, and lifestyles of the indigenous communities of Odisha.

After local sightseeing in Bhubaneshwar, our driver will drop you at the Bhubaneswar Airport for your onward journey. Depart with cherished memories of an unforgettable trip through the heart of Odisha.

• Only Hindus are allowed entry into the Jagannath and Lingaraj Temples. Non-Hindus and foreigners can enjoy an external view of the temple.
• The Nandankanan Zoological Park and Odisha State Tribal Museum remain closed on Mondays.

• Any puja/Prasad/Dakhina will be on a direct payment basis.
