A warm greeting awaits you when you arrive at Suryaa Villa by the hosts, dressed in traditional Rajput garb (dhoti, kurta, safa, and Rajasthani turbans). Everyone gets a turban (special head covering similar to a cap and bandana), women receive a crisp white dress, Kurti (over garment), and salwaar (traditional leggings) while men can wear a kurta and pajama. Perhaps a before-and-after photo would help you remember the Jaipur Holi celebration.
The celebrations begin in the courtyard by the pool, where traditional folk dancers welcome the tourists with pichkaris, dholaks, and herbal colours. A joyful buffet lunch brings the party to a close, leaving you with fond memories. An essential component of the festival and the Holi celebrations is "Bhang Thandai," which the adventurous may desire to try. Bhang, also known as marijuana to Westerners, is a traditional drink made from a combination of milk, dried fruits, and bhang leaf extracts.
The host family, local performers, hotel staff, and even local merchants and artists will join you in the enjoyment of this delightful festival to make it more happening and memorable. After lunch, your thrilling Holi experience comes to an end, and you are driven back to your hotel
