Witness the beautiful Elephanta Caves with our tours and travel Mumbai, starting at 8:30 am. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the famous Gateway of India, a renowned tourist spot in Mumbai. From there, you will embark on a picturesque ferry ride to the lush green Elephanta Island, which will take approximately 1 hour and 15 mins.

As you reach the island, you will be captivated by the two majestic hills covered in forests. The island boasts two cave groups, with the first consisting of five Hindu caves and the second featuring two Buddhist caves.

To reach the temple, you can take the toy train which in itself is a beautiful experience. Upon entering the 5th-century rock-cut temple, you will be mesmerized by the magnificent stone sculptures, expertly carved corridors, enchanting rock work, and captivating mythical themes. A truly awe-inspiring sight to behold!

The temple complex is a magnificent sight, adorned with a plethora of majestic sculptures depicting the various manifestations of Lord Shiva, such as Kalyanasundara, Gangadhara, Ardhanariswara, Uma Maheswara, Nataraja, Yogiswara, Andhakaasuravadamoorthy, and Ravanaanugrahamurthy.

After a fulfilling Mumbai trip to the Elephanta caves, the ferry will take you back to the Gateway of India at 01:30 PM. From there, our driver will transport you back to your hotel, bringing your exciting trip to the end.
